Equilibrium Painting is a professional and sustainable 'green' painting company who cares about the health of our employees, our customers and the environment. We are committed to customer service, and providing exceptional interior and exterior painting to customers throughout the Willamette Valley and Central Coast, with a concentration of customers based in the Corvallis/Albany and Eugene/Springfield and surrounding areas.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL POSITIONS:
• Criminal Background Check (does not automatically disqualify)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Dependable vehicle and willingness to travel in personal vehicle (gas stipend provided)
• Must be detail oriented with integrity about the outcome of your work
• Experience and comfort with heights - working on ladders, roofs and in lifts
• Must be able to lift, carry and roof rack stack heavy extension ladders
• Must be able to follow directions and safety protocols at all times
• Must be willing to work in adverse and changing weather conditions and temperatures
• Must be clean, professional and maintain a positive team atmosphere at all times
• Must be able to consistently hustle in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn Sustainable 'Green' Painting Procedures
• Must be available for work Mon-Fri (typically 7am-5pm June-September & 9am-6pm October-April)
PAINTING APPRENTICES:
Must meet all general requirements listed above. Must be detail oriented and a self-starter who can follow directions and must continuously learn and increase skill level while maintaining a steady hustle in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines. Must maintain a positive attitude, be open to constructive feedback, ask questions, and have excellent communication skills. Must maintain the highest degree of professionalism and integrity, and consistently provide an exceptional honest paint job for all customers. Must be willing to paint and prep in a more environmentally friendly way. Some prior painting experience is preferred.
MID-LEVEL PAINTERS:
Must meet all general requirements listed above. Must have 2 years or more painting experience in all aspects of painting including: rolling, brushing, precision cut in, all aspects of prep work including taping, plastic and paper coverings, scraping and caulking. Some spray experience preferred. Experience with sanding and stains preferred. Must be an organized, self-starter, able to move quickly and efficiently hustle to meet deadlines. Must maintain a positive attitude, be open to constructive feedback, ask questions, and have excellent communication skills. Must be willing to continually learn and increase skills in the trade including how to paint and prep in a more environmentally friendly way. Must maintain the highest degree of professionalism and integrity, and consistently provide an exceptional honest paint job for all customers.
JOURNEYMEN PAINTERS:
Must meet all general requirements listed above. Must have 5 years or more experience and proficiency in all aspects of painting including rolling, brushing, precision hand-cut in; safely and effectively prepping, cleaning and using a sprayer under the correct weather conditions; spraying smooth surfaces such as doors and setting up spray rooms; all aspects of prep work including pressure-washing, taping, plastic and paper coverings, scraping and caulking, sanding horizontal and vertical surfaces, and spraying or hand brushing stains. Must be an organized, self-starter, able to move quickly and efficiently with hustle to meet deadlines. Must continuously meet or exceed customer service and company communication expectations. Must maintain a positive attitude, be open to constructive feedback, and willing to continually learn trade skills including how to paint and prep in a more environmentally friendly way. Must maintain the highest degree of professionalism and integrity, and consistently provide an exceptional honest paint job for all customers.
